Elevate Gymnastics – Rules & Policies
To help provide a safe, positive, and productive environment for all athletes, we ask that all families follow these guidelines.
1. Hair & Attire
-
Hair must be tied back securely before class.
-
Athletes must wear appropriate gymnastics attire, including a leotard or athletic clothing such as leggings, shorts, and a fitted athletic top.
-
No jewelry, loose clothing, buttons, or zippers during participation.
2. Safety First
-
Gymnastics is an inherently risky sport and requires focus, body awareness, and self-control.
-
Athletes must listen to coaches and follow instructions at all times.
-
Unsafe behavior, including misuse of equipment, roughhousing, flinging/flopping without control, or ignoring safety corrections, will not be tolerated.
-
Athletes may be asked to sit out, be removed from an activity, or leave class if safety expectations are not met.
-
Equipment may only be used with coach permission and supervision.
3. Parent Viewing Policy
-
To encourage athlete focus, confidence, and independence, parents are invited to watch the final 15 minutes of class.
-
Excessive observation during class can be distracting and may impact athlete progress and participation.
4. Respect & Behavior
-
Respectful behavior is expected from all athletes, parents, and guardians.
-
Bullying, disruptive behavior, inappropriate language, or disrespect toward coaches, staff, or other participants will not be tolerated.
-
Elevate Gymnastics reserves the right to dismiss any participant for unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior without refund.
5. Attendance & Make-Up Classes
-
Consistent attendance is encouraged for athlete progress and safety.
-
Missed classes, camps, or events are non-refundable.
-
Make-up classes are not guaranteed and may only be offered when space is available.
6. Drop-Off & Pick-Up
-
Athletes must be dropped off and picked up on time.
-
Parents should notify us if they expect to arrive late.
-
Elevate Gymnastics is not responsible for athletes before or after their scheduled class time.
7. Equipment Use
-
Athletes may not use gymnastics equipment unless a coach is present.
-
Parents and guardians are not permitted on equipment during classes except during designated Play Gym activities.
8. Camps & Open Gym
-
Camp spots are limited and reserved only after payment is received.
-
Participants should bring a water bottle and packed lunch when required.
-
Open Gym participation is supervised but still involves active physical risk.
-
Elevate Gymnastics reserves the right to modify, limit, or end activities for safety reasons.
9. Most Important Rule: Have Fun!
We want every athlete to feel confident, supported, challenged, and excited to learn. Our goal is to help children build strength, discipline, resilience, and a lifelong love of movement.
